Andreas E. Siemers

Andreas Siemers, great-grandson of the Hamburg merchant Edmund Siemers, was born in Hamburg in 1956. After his school-leaving examination in 1975, his service in the German armed forces and practical experience gained in his father’s construction company, he studied law at the University of Hamburg and took the First State Examination in Law in 1983 and the Second State Examination in Law in 1986. During the period as a trainee lawyer/trainee judicial officer Mr Siemers also worked as a site manager for approx. 18 months. From 1986 to 2000 Mr Siemers was a partner in the partnership Dr. Kuhlmann & Eicke, a law firm specializing in tax and business law. Since 2000 he has been a partner of our law firm.

For many years his activities have focused on partnership law, company law and company tax law. Legal advice in business law contexts of all kinds is part of his day-to-day activities. Moreover, Mr Siemers is a member of various supervisory boards of medium-sized enterprises as well as sitting on the board of active foundations and is entrusted with the execution of wills regarding various estates. Historically, i.e. from his family background, another main activity is furthermore public and private construction law, for which his technical experience is a good qualification.

Mr Siemers is married with four children and an active sportsman.
