In the field of EU state aid law, we advice companies and public authorities regarding the (possible) grant of national state aid measures and their compatibility with EU law.

Our experience further covers, inter alia, the communication between companies, the German authorities and the European Commission and the guidance of clients in cases where a subsidy is granted in favor of a competitor. We have also broad experience in the representation of clients in court proceedings before the German and the EU courts.

In the field of M&A, we advice (potential) investors regarding state aid risks and potentials connected with the target.
